Dr. Steven John Heil, MD

Dr. Steven J. Heil practices general orthopaedics, but specializes in joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. He also treats shoulder disorders, including rotator disease and common foot and hand conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Heil is fellowship trained in management of difficult fractures and is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). His practice philosophy is that of patient directed care. This means diagnosing each patient’s problem, and explaining the available options for treatment and helping the patient decide which course of treatment best fits their particular situation. He works closely with Kristine Steele, PA-C, a master’s level trained physician assistant to provide personalized care to each patient.
