Dr. Steven Mark Fiore, MD

Dr. Fiore specializes in the treatment of congenital and degenerative disorders of the entire spine; from the base of the skull to the tip of the tailbone; as well as traumatic injury to this area.
Dr. Fiore also specializes in the treatment of adult and pediatric scoliosis, lumbar disc disease, spinal stenosis and reconstructive deformities.
He is a Board Certified and is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, and the Scoliosis Research Society among others. He is also specially trained in Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy (IDET) used in the treatment of disc disorders.
Due to Dr. Fiore’s orthopaedic sub-specialty interests and training in spinal deformities, he contributes his time and expertise to a special screening program he created to detect spinal deformity, including scoliosis in children. The program includes a training workshop for school nurses from Richmond and surrounding areas and a check of the students who need …physician input.
