As a physician in the Dermatologist Medical Group of North County, Susan Detwiler, MD, gives her best to every patient. Dr. Detwiler practices general medical dermatology, diagnosing and treating skin cancers, moles and acne, and cosmetic dermatology. She is Stanford fellowship trained in dermatopathology. As a dermatopathologist, she is especially interested in the microscopic evaluation of skin biopsies and the correlation of pathology results with the clinical findings. Dr. Detwiler is an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at University of California, San Diego and volunteers at the VA Hospital.
