I moved from Virginia in 1998 for residency training. I thought I wanted to be a surgeon, but changed my mind while in the Navy, caring for servicemen’s families. I opened Vine Medical Associates in 2007 with my nurse Margaret and have grown to include a nurse practitioner, LInda Duxbury and a dietician Robin Steagall in 2011 and a physician’s assistant, Diane Lowe in 2013. My family is in Virginia and Colorado, and I live here with my beloved husband Chip and our dog Natasha. I minister to students through Northpoint Community Church in Alpharetta and through Compassion International, Honduras.
