Dr. Shuler, an accomplished orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, graduated from the University of South Carolina and completed his residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He specialized in orthopaedic traumatology through a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Currently, he is the director of Orthopaedic Traumatology at Carilion Medical Center and holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where he is the director of orthopaedic education. Additionally, he acts as a preceptor at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
