Dr. Timothy A. Hernandez, MD

Dr. Hernandez graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his internship and residency there as well.
Dr. Hernandez was in private practice with Tejas Internal Medicine Specialist Association for more than 12 years.
His professional appointments include serving as Clinical Professor at University of Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hernandez served on the Ethics Committee at Christus Santa Rosa Northwest Hospital from 2001 to 2003. He was Chief of Medicine and Medical Director of the Medical/Surgical Intermediate Unit at Methodist Hospital from 2007 to 2009. Dr. Hernandez serves as Chairman of the Medicine Clinical Review Committee and is also member of the Physician Resource and the Ethics Committees.
