Dr. Trevor William Reichman, MD

Dr. Trevor Reichman received his BS degree from Bucknell University and his MD, PhD degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Chicago. After residency, Dr. Reichman continued his training in abdominal transplantation and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery at the University of Toronto/Toronto General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children with a focus in live donor liver transplantation and pediatric liver transplantation. He joined Ochsner in July of 2011 with an expertise in all aspects of abdominal transplantation including pediatric and adult liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, and pancreas transplantation. He also has an interest in management of complex hepatobiliary cases and HPB oncology including primary and metastatic tumors. His basic science research interests are in hepatocellular carcinoma tumor stem cells and the regulation of metastasis. Dr. Reichman has published extensively in …both basic science and clinical research and is a regular reviewer for several scientific journals.
