Dr. Utpalkumar Jashbhai Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is our current Mohs micrographic surgery fellow. He is a board certified dermatologist and an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Patel graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with honors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He obtained his MD and PhD degrees from Temple University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After his internship in internal medicine, Dr. Patel completed his dermatology residency at The New York University Department of Dermatology. During his academic career, Dr. Patel has earned numerous grants, scholarships, and awards for his clinical and research achievements. Dr. Patel is an active contributor to the field of dermatology with over 20 publications and presentations in leading peer-reviewed medical journals and national meetings. , he serves as reviewer of several leading dermatology journals.
