BiographyI was born and grew up in Salt Lake City, where I also attended college and medical school and completed my internship and residency. I have since lived various places in the West, always drawing closer to the warm weather and the beach. I had planned to be a physician from a very young age, and am very happy to have achieved that dream. About my practiceThe practice of obstetrics and gynecology allows many unique and special opportunities in medicine. Not only am I able to help women to maintain great health throughout their lives, but I am able to assist them through critical life changes at every age and maintain that relationship through a lifetime. I have the opportunity to share beautiful experiences, such as pregnancy and childbirth, with …patients and their families. I enjoy helping patients and others to understand more about themselves, their general health, and the processes that may impact their health. It is a pleasure to be able to provide both medical and surgical care to women. How I thriveHealthy living is important to me, not only for maintaining my health, but also for enjoying life. I grew up at the base of many world-class ski runs, as well as moments away from incredible mountain biking experiences, and I still enjoy both skiing and mountain biking. I also enjoy working out nearly every day, and seek opportunities for a range of outdoor activities-it helps that I live on the beach! Travel is very important to me, and I am intrigued by experiencing new places and cultures.
