Dr. McGarry is a hematologist and oncologist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. He has been providing care to patients in Indian River County for more than 20 years. In addition to private practice, he has held academic appointments and served as section chief, hematology/oncology at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center from 2018 to 2022. William McGarry, MD received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed internal medicine residency training at UF Health Shands Hospital. He was awarded fellowships in medical oncology and medical hematology at the University of Texas in Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is a past recipient of the American Cancer Society Hope Award.
