Dr. EMMA OSHAGAN, PhD is a LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Dr. Emma Oshagan has more than 25 years of experience working in clinical practice working with children, adults, the elderly, and the chronically ill in different settings such as hospitals, schools and mental health agencies. Dr. Oshagan graduated from the American University of Beirut with Master’s degree in Psychology. In 1975, she came to the U.S. as a Fulbight-Hays exchange Scholar to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a Ph.D. in Communications. After obtaining her Ph.D., she went on to teach at universities in the US. In 1989 she went to the California School of Professional Psychology for her second Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed psychologist.
Presently, Dr. Oshagan is a member of several community organizations in a leadeship role and designated representative of Armenians and other ethnic populations in Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and serves as a member of Systems Leadership …Team which is an advisory group to the Director of LA County Department of Mental Health.
