Haley Evens MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is the founder of Alpine Medical Group, a collaborative practice of providers offering primary care and specialty services in the heart of Fairbanks. Haley developed the Alpine Medical Group model as a high-quality facility built with top level providers to offer the community of Fairbanks one location for medical care with premium service. From the first patient contact making an appointment, to the exam and follow-up, communication with administrative staff, the goal is to allow our patients to feel valued and ensure all care is patient centered. Haley is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialty in musculoskeletal medicine. She uses dextrose prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma regenerative medicine, trigger point injections and myofascial treatments in caring for patients dealing with chronic pain and injury, both acute and chronic. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Master of …Science-Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University. Haley is a member of the International Association of Regenerative Therapy and has over 17 years of experience in musculoskeletal medicine. Structural Integration, massage, cranial sacral therapy and regenerative medicine are models integrated into plans of care helping patients manage pain is at the heart of her practice. Haley is a third generation Fairbanksan, while she has lived in several other states she has always been called back home to the interior. Her immediate and extended family are Fairbanks Pioneers who homesteaded in Fairbanks in the 1950’s. Her passion for health and wellness began as a small child. She was heavily influenced by her grandfather, Dr. Frank Spaulding, who was the founder of the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Utilizing both an allopathic and an eastern model of care is a value that has grown since childhood. Haley spends her free time with her husband and kids fishing and camping in the summer and traveling in the winter. She has family in southeast Alaska where she and her family spend time in the summer. The rest of her time is spent volunteering at her kids school, trail running and enjoying the outdoors around Fairbanks. She believes that the structure, function, and movement of the body are elements that are essential for a healthy, pain free life: proper function and health will not exist without appropriate structure and movement. Haley understands that the freedom of movement and the ability to remain active and pain-free for a lifetime is essential to overall health.
