I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a doctoral degree from University at Buffalo and masters from Stony Brook University. I have 15 yrs of experience working with adults and geriatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. I have treated patients from a variety of cultural and racial backgrounds throughout the years, and this experience taught me that there is no one size that fits all. In order to evaluate, diagnose, and treat my patients, I take a holistic approach. I offer treatment for a number of psychiatric problems, including ADHD, depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, insomnia, and anxiety disorders. In my session, I place a lot of emphasis on stress-reduction strategies. Along with medication, I also include nutrition, meditation, and exercise in my treatment approach.
