Dr. Sohail Nibras is a distinguished psychiatrist based in Houston, Texas, dedicated to making a significant impact on the emotional, behavioral, and mental well-being of his patients through holistic psychiatric care. Dr. Nibras’s extensive training includes a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Louis University and a Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Integrative Science. He completed his general psychiatry residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During his residency, he gained valuable experience at a large inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric facility and at the Gateway Foundation rehab facility, where he treated patients with substance use disorders.

Currently, Dr. Nibras serves as an assistant professor at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences with the Baylor College of Medicine and as an attending psychiatrist at Texas Children’s Hospital. In these roles, he treats patients with complex psychopathologies and is actively involved in teaching and scholarly projects to advance evidence-based knowledge in psychiatry. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Nibras values quality time with his family and is passionate about adopting a holistic and personalized approach to patient care.
