Acceptable Use of iMedix

iMedix is a community-oriented health search engine that allows users to find, contribute, and share health and medical information.
By accessing iMedix, you agree to comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations, including those related to medical and healthcare content. You are solely responsible for your actions on iMedix and ensuring compliance with these terms on behalf of anyone using iMedix through your account.

When using iMedix, you agree to refrain from:

  • Violating the Terms or any other applicable rules and instructions;
  • Interfering with or disrupting iMedix's functionality;
  • Circumventing or manipulating the Services and the Search Engine;
  • Sending automated or machine-generated search queries;
  • Posting false, inaccurate, or misleading content;
  • Posting off-topic or rule-breaking content in the Services;
  • Using robots, crawlers, or similar applications to collect content for the purpose of competing with iMedix;
  • Displaying iMedix in an exposed or concealed frame or linking to iMedix elements independently;
  • Impersonating any person or entity or making false statements regarding your identity or affiliation;
  • Collecting personal information of iMedix users without explicit consent;
  • Posting commercial content without permission, except in designated areas.

You must not post, disseminate, or make available any content on iMedix that may reasonably be deemed:

  1. Infringing or violating intellectual property rights;
  2. Revealing personal details of minors or ways to contact them;
  3. Containing software viruses, malware, or other malicious applications;
  4. Encouraging criminal offenses;
  5. Violating privacy or publicity rights;
  6. Prohibited by applicable laws or court orders;
  7. Threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or objectionable;
  8. Unsolicited commercial communications (spam), chain letters, or pyramid schemes.

User-Generated Content

We encourage open discussion on iMedix but limit content to healthcare-related issues and subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to review and remove content at our discretion if it violates the Terms or applicable laws or if it is unrelated to healthcare.
Content posted by users on iMedix does not represent our views, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy or validity.

We may delete content after a certain period of time, which means previously posted content may no longer be available.

Registration and User Account

iMedix is available to all internet users, but some services may require registration.
By registering, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older.

Registration on iMedix is currently free, but we may introduce registration fees in the future. Any changes to the registration policy will be notified on iMedix, and your account may be terminated if you do not agree to the updated terms or fail to pay the fees.

During the registration process, we will ask for your contact and personal details. It is important to provide accurate and up-to-date information to ensure proper registration and communication. Mandatory fields will be indicated, and failure to complete them will result in inability to register.

To log in, use your email address and password. Alternatively, we may provide a designated password for accessing your account. Additional means of identification and authentication may be required for certain services on iMedix.

Maintain the confidentiality of your username and password and refrain from sharing them with others. Change your password regularly, at least every six months.

You are responsible for providing accurate registration details and for any consequences arising from the misuse of your account.

You can terminate your account by using our designated termination form at https://www.imedix.com/contact-us. We may require additional verification before processing the termination. Your account will be terminated ten days after notification, and you will no longer have access.

We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently deny, limit, suspend, or terminate user accounts, prohibit access to iMedix, and remove content if we believe there has been an abuse of rights or a breach of the Terms.
