Dr. Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NY. He had been an attending psychiatrist with department of C-L Psychiatry, LIJMC, from 1998 to 2009. He is currently a voluntary attending in psychiatry at NSLIJ health system. He is in full time private practice in Great Neck. He has several publications in the field of psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. He has made several presentations at local and national level meetings. His main interest and clinical expertise is focused on psychosomatic medicine and the interface between neurology and psychiatry. He is also boarded in sleep medicine in 2011.
Dr. Gupta graduated from a premier medical institution in India Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. His initial training in India included internship and residency training in medicine and Dermatology. He practiced as a dermatologist before he moved to the US in 1990.
He did his residency training in psychiatry from NYU medical center and …later sub specialized in psychosomatic medicine, neuropsychiatry and sleep medicine.
