Dr. Bradley K. Harrison is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine internship, residency, and co-chief residency (with Dr. Platz) at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia. There he received the Outstanding Graduating Family Medicine Resident Award. While on active duty in the United States Army he was a Family Medicine staff physician at Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas. During his time in the Army he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Squadron Surgeon with the 3rd Squadron, 73rd Cavalry, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division earning a Bronze Star Medal.
At the completion of his military obligation, he joined Stonecreek Family Physicians here in Manhattan. After leaving Stonecreek, he and Dr. Platz decided to create Manhattan Primary Care.
Dr. Harrison is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and …is recognized as a Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Kansas Academy of Family Physicians, Riley County Medical Society, Physician Advisor for the No Stone Unturned Foundation, and serves on the Diabetes Advisory Board at Mercy Regional Health center. In addition, he volunteers as the physician for the Kansas State University baseball team.
Dr. Harrison has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) to perform class 2 and 3 flight physicals. He also is listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals.
He lives in Manhattan with his two children.
