Dr. Bryan J. Hawkins earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in 1979. Dr. Hawkins attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating in 1983. His residency was completed at Charity Hospital, Transitional Internship, 1984, and Tulane Affiliated Hospitals, Orthopedic Surgery Residency, 1988. Dr. Hawkins has had several papers and reports published in various medical journals, with a number of other research topics pending publication. He co-authored “The Sports Doctor,” which appeared in The Pacific Stars and Stripes News. Dr. Hawkins is a Fellow of the University of Texas Medical Branch, Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship. He is certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medial Association, the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society , and the Tulsa Orthopedic Society. His sub-specialty/special interest is Sports Medicine, Arthroscopic and …Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle, and Total Joint Arthroplasty. Dr. Hawkins lives in Tulsa with his family. He volunteers as team physician for several local high school sports teams.
