I believe in spending time with the patient and their parents during all their encounters with me. It is important to have a one to one conversation, paying attention to details. It is also important to think ahead and anticipate problems and solutions. I always have plan A, B and C in my mind and I am very open discussing all possibilities with the patients and their families. Teamwork and good communication are essential for providing excellent care. I believe in empowering the patient and their families with the best information as to allow them to make informed decisions regarding their health.
