Board-certified medical oncologist Dr. Caryn Silver focuses her practice on the treatment of breast cancer. “More and more cancers are becoming curable,” she says, thanks to the explosion of new discoveries and more sophisticated treatments. She is actively involved in clinical trials research and encourages her patients to participate whenever possible.
Dr. Silver received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. She completed Internal Medicine residency training at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA and a fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at Dana-Farber/Partners Cancer Care in Boston.
She joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2004.
