Dr. Messick earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to joining West Florida Medical Group, Dr. Messick practiced at Glynn Family Medicine Clinic in Brunswick, Georgia and served on the Medical Staff of Southeast Georgia Health System and Wound Care Center. He also served in the United States Army as a Medical Specialist from 1972 to 1975 in Freidberg, West Germany. Dr. Messick is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine. He holds an additional certification in wound care. Dr. Messick is board certified in Family Medicine.
