Deboarah Wagenaar, DO, MS, completed her DO degree at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983. After a rotating internship at Metropolitan Hospital she finished her adult psychiatry residency program through Michigan State University in 1987. She traveled to the University of Washington to complete a geriatric psychiatry program in 1988. She has been in the MSU Department of Psychiatry since 1993, first serving as associated training director for the psychiatry residency program and the director of medical student education. Dr. Wagenaar currently serves as the director of the department’s Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship.
