He was in private practice for five years. Later, he went on to complete medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and spent the next five years completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Corenman is a spine surgeon and expert in all conditions relating to the cervical, lumbar and thoracic spine. He specializes in degenerative conditions such as degenerative disc disease, degenerative spondylolisthesis and spinal stenosis as well as spinal cord injuries resulting from traumatic and sports-related accidents.
