Dr. Scheid graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College in 1979. After completion of medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine, he completed his orthopedic residency at St. Louis University Medical Center. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in trauma and joint reconstruction at the University of Toronto, Canada in 1989.
Dr. Scheid serves as the orthopedic consultant for the Indy Racing League and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedics. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Scheid’s hospital affiliations include OrthoIndy Hospital and St.Vincent Hospital.
