Dr. Lovegren is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has practiced in Denver since 1993. She earned her baccalaureate of science from Furman University in South Carolina, then continued her education by earning a doctorate in biochemistry, and finally a medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Her residency training was through University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She liked Colorado so much, she decided to stay; she joined Mayfair Internal Medicine in 1995. She states, “My favorite part of medicine is the one-on-one interaction with my patients. I listen for their concerns, and try to incorporate teaching into my time with patients, so they can better manage their medical conditions.”
In her free time, she enjoys snowshoeing, singing in a choir, and practicing Tai Chi.
