Dr. McConnell, MD, FACS, FASCRS graduated from the University of Utah in 1992. She completed her residency in general surgery in California and her fellowship in colon & rectal surgery in Rochester, NY. She was recruited to work at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ in 2000. In 2004, she opened her own solo practice in Phoenix, AZ, specializing in Colon & Rectal Surgery.
