Dr. Ellen Jenkins is a board-certified internist and rheumatologist. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the College of William and Mary. She attended the Medical College of Virginia where she met her husband, Jim. The couple moved to Augusta, Georgia, where Dr. Jenkins completed her internal medicine training at the Medical College of Georgia in 1988. While her husband fulfilled his Army obligations in Germany, Dr. Jenkins worked for the Army as an internist. She then returned home to the Washington area to complete her rheumatology training at George Washington University. She has two sons, Billy and Sean, and lives in Vienna. Dr. Jenkins joined our group in 1994.
