Dr. DeLaughter was born in Oklahoma City, Ok and grew up in Prague, Oklahoma. He did serve in the Oklahoma National Guard and the U.S. Army prior to College.
He ultimately went to college, and Graduated from th Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, a recipient of many National HOnors in medical educationand research.
He trained in the field of Family Medicine, which may surpise many as including all fields of medicine and many minor surgical procedures. Dr. Delaughter provides many of these services today while serving in Rural Oklahoma, where access to specialists is limited and often requires a significant wit.
