Dr. Ian Storper is the Director of the Otology Program at the New York Head and Neck Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital. He specializes in diseases of the ear, specifically in hearing loss and hearing restoration surgery, stapes surgery, surgery for chronic ear infections and eardrum perforations, cholesteatoma, cochlear implantation, superior semicircular canal dehiscence repair and facial nerve surgery.He joined the New York Head and Neck Institute after being the Director of Neurotology at a major university medical center in New York for 16 years, where he performed their first cochlear implant.At the New York Head and Neck Institute, Dr. Storper performed the first Baha Attract hearing implant in the United States in 2013 and the first MAXUM middle ear implant in the Greater New York Area in 2012.In addition to ear surgery, Dr. Storper maintains a large general practice in Otolaryngology, including sinonasal surgery and offie otolaryngology.
