James F. Bale, Jr., MD, Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology, has approximately 30 years of experience as a child neurologist. With advanced training and expertise in neurological infections, Dr. Bale specializes in infections of the nervous system, especially the infections that damage the developing nervous system, a group of conditions known as congenital infections. Dr. Bale also works closely with the team of physicians who care for children and adolescents with migraines and other types of headaches. Dr. Bale is the senior author of an illustrated textbook that describes the diagnosis and management of many conditions affecting the nervous system of infants, children and adolescents.
