Dr. Schneider is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. His interest lies in sports injuries of the knee and shoulder. He did a sports Medicine Fellowship focusing on knee and shoulder injuries with the Boston Celtics in 1996-1997.
Dr. Schneider has numerous memberships in professional societies, such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, National Board of Medical Examiners (Diplomat), Albany County Medical Society, New York State Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Schneider also serves as co-team physician for the athletic teams at the State University of New York at Albany.
Dr. Schneider received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Siena College in 1987 and received his medical degree in 1991 from the State University of New York, School of Medicine at Syracuse. He completed his orthopaedic residency program at Albany Medical Center. His fellowship work was focused on Sports Medicine with the Boston Celtics at the New England Baptist Bone & Joint Institute in Boston Massachusetts. …Dr. Schneider joined Capital Region Orthopaedics in 1997.
