Dr. Gauvin has his State of California medical license amongst several other certifications and licensures. He attended Harvard University where he received his AB degree in Biology. He then attended New York University where he obtained his PhD in Computational Chemistry followed by University of Chicago where he obtained his MS in Financial Mathematics. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his trainings in a variety of competitive settings and roles inclusive of internship in the Department of Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University as well as resident physician in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Since beginning his career, Dr. Gauvin has been employed in a variety of different mental health settings and roles enhancing his skills and ability to work with a variety of different patients and their range of mental health needs.
