Dr. Spencer joined the Pathology Department at Virginia Hospital Center in July 2010. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Spencer came to the Washington DC area to attend medical school at the George Washington University. After graduating with honors in 2005, Dr. Spencer entered the Pathology Residency at George Washington University. He then stayed on as their Cytopathology Fellow, completing training in June 2010. Dr. Spencer has been published in the American Journal of Surgical Pathology. Dr. Spencer is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
