He completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He pursued additional post-doctoral fellowship training in Immunobiology at Yale and Immunodermatology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He returned to Walter Reed and served as Physician Staff, Chief of Immunodermatology, and Chief of Dermatology before moving over the Uniformed Services University where he served as Program Director and Associate Professor.Deployments and …CommendationsDuring his military service, he deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Unified Response, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal and was recognized with the A Proficiency Designator, Clinical Investigation and Research Regulatory Oversight Designator, and Master Clinician Award.
