Dr. Laura Ispas-Ponas attended and completed Medical School in Timisoara, Romania and completed her medical training with a Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Allergy, Asthma, Immunology at East Carolina University in North Carolina. She holds active membership in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, Immunology, the American College of Physicians, the World Allergy Organization, the American Medical Association and the Greater Arizona Allergy Society. She is the owner and CEO of Sonoran Allergy & Asthma Center, PC in Scottsdale, AZ and also Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Institute, PC in Lansdowne, VA. She is also a published author and has been active in clinical research involving trial medications. Her interests, besides treating patients with a variety of allergic diseases, include teaching and clinical research as well as medical writing.
