Dr. Ravi Ramamoorthy Iyer, MD

Dr. Iyer is an experienced doctor of internal medicine. Dr. Iyer’s academic background includes two post-doctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School. He has authored several papers in highly acclaimed medical publications. Today, Dr. Iyer continues to keep himself up-to-date with the latest medical advancements. The clinic also runs an active House call program for Home bound seniors in the Herndon, Reston & Sterling area and run community outreach services for home-bound income-restricted seniors who live in HUD subsidized housing. This focus on community based medicine iflows out of the philosophy that health care must flow out to those who are most in need and least able to access it. The clinics Home-At-Last program is a unique post-hospitalization house call program that has a track record of reducing re-admissions to hospitals after discharge.
