Dr. Ross P. Smith is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma. He’s passionate about caring for patients with complex fractures, traumatic injuries and those in need of hip reconstruction or replacement surgery. Dr. Ross Smith received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine. He immediately followed with a 5-year residency in orthopedic surgery at the West Virginia University, Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Smith received additional training in orthopedic trauma, complex fracture management, non-unions, and total hip joint replacement during his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at OrthoIndy. During his undergraduate and medical education, he received numerous scholarships and honors, and has published several clinical and research papers on orthopedics.
