Dr. Samuel Dejesus, MD

Samuel De Jesus, MD, is a member of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Specialty Section at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and also serves as the assistant director for the Colon and Rectal Residency Program at Orlando Health. Dr. DeJesus is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, as well as the American Board of Surgery. He has been exclusively practicing colon and rectal surgery since his fellowship training. He received his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and did his internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He completed his residency in general surgery at New York Medical College where he also served as chief resident. Dr. DeJesus completed his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Orlando Health. He has several publications and has presented at numerous national meetings, including the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress.
