Thomas Scary, MD, MA is an Adult Psychiatrist who is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received his bachelor’s from NYU, his medical degree from Temple University, and he trained in Psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident among his peers. He supervises young physicians at Temple University for the Department of Psychiatry, and he treats patients for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD and other psychiatric struggles at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates.
Dr. Scary provides medication management for Anxiety disorders (such as Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, PTSD and Social Phobia), Mood Disorders (such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD Types 1 and 2), Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Postpartum Depression, Cyclothymia and Persistent Depressive Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorders (such as Adult ADHD).
