Dr Jamison came to the New River Valley from his home state of Texas in 1991 to continue practicing medicine in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Christiansburg Internal Medicine was officially formed in 2006 when Dr Jamison joined Lewis Gale Physicians, HCA. Dawn Fouse, PA joined the staff in 2013 bringing a strong background in primary care, women’s health and diabetic education. Ann Shawhan, NP joined in 2014. Ann has been providing healthcare to the people of the New River Valley for 18 years, first as an emergency room nurse than as a nurse practitioner in primary care.
