Dr. Bax graduated from medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1992. He continued his General Surgery training at O.H.S.U., completing his chief residency in 1998. Dr. Bax spent a year as a research fellow in the area of minimally invasive surgery in Portland where he studied both clinical and basic science aspects of laparoscopy and thorascopic surgery. Dr. Bax is board certified in general surgery with a special interest in laparoscopic surgery.
