Dr. Tommy Leonard Hicks, MD

Dr. Hicks was born and raised in California. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at Oral Roberts University and a Maser of Science degree in Pharmacology at Loma Linda University. His medical education was also at Loma Linda University where he is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
He completed a three-year Family Practice Residency training program at Silas B. Hays Army Community Hospital at Fort Ord, CA. He practiced three years at Fort Sill, OK. Since 1986 he has practiced at the FHP and Talbert Medical Group clinics in Laguna Hills and Fountain Valley in family and geriatric medicine and urgent care.
In addition to his office-based practice, Dr. Hicks maintains the health of patients in several of the local long-term care facilities as well as providing the occasional home visit. Dr. Hicks has served patients in this community for 15 years.
Dr. Hicks is married and the father of two college-age daughters. He is active in his church and enjoys …computing, hiking, and genealogy and time with his family.
