Dr. Yevgeny Shuhatovich is an expert hand surgeon who is board-certified and has completed a fellowship. He is best known for his surgical skills and his conservative approach to treating conditions that affect the elbow, wrist, and hand. Even though he comes from Russia, and currently resides in Texas, Dr. Shuhatovich is one of the modern hand surgeons who is best known for treating very complex conditions when it comes to nerve compressions and joint reconstruction. His approach to medicine is to make sure that his patient’s outcomes are better than ever, so he knows very well how to perform microsurgical reconstructions, and make sure your recovery time is short, as well as the low cost associated with the procedures.

He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and he took …part in a general surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York. He furthered his training with a microsurgery and hand surgery fellowship in plastic surgery, at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, IL. Dr. Shuhatovich is a double board-certified surgeon, and he has an additional certificate in the surgery of the hand. He is proud to be able to practice in Texas, as well as Illinois.
