Dr. Darryl Cuda MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. His practice focuses on knee, leg, foot and ankle. He cares for problems related to sports injuries, trauma, reconstructions, arthroscopy of the knee and ankle, worker’s compensation, as well as metabolic and connective tissue disorders, such as rheumatoid and related arthritis’s. He sees all ages from young children to seniors. Having spent 16 years in the Army, many as a general orthopedic surgeon, he is more than familiar with care of the all areas of the body. He has completed fellowships in both orthopedic foot & ankle surgery and orthopedic traumatology. He has special interest in endurance athletes, in part, due to his continued competitive pursuits at the local, national and world levels of triathlon.Dr. Cuda sees all his patients himself, from start to finish. With a tightly knit, experienced office …staff, he always works toward an early diagnosis and broad treatment scope to help ensure rapid return to regular activity. He has no financial affiliations with radiology or physical therapy, so as to assure that patients choose locations that fit their needs. In-room, state-of-the-art instant diagnostic imaging allows patients to see and take part in understanding their diagnosis and managing their care. In nearly all situations, a diagnosis, treatment plan, and expected time frame is shared with his patients. Surgical care, if needed, is always discussed thoroughly, however non-surgical or other conservative measures are pursued first, if at all possible. He strongly encourages an open doctor/patient dialogue to help ensure understanding, expectations and trust.Dr. Cuda is credentialed at all major hospital systems and is a founding partner with Foundation Surgical Hospital.
