A Massachusetts native, Dr. Arns graduated from Mt. Holyoke College in 1976. She then attended Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York, receiving her medical degree in 1985. She went on to complete an internship at University of Oklahoma followed by a residency at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Dr. Arns is the proud mother of two sons. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is on the Executive Board of Baptist Hospital serving as Secretary of Treasury.
