Dr. Pal, a highly trained varicose vein physician in Minnesota, is the founder of Minnesota Vein Center. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and is is credentialed as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Dr. Pal is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, (FACP), which recognizes accomplishments and excellence in medicine. He is an active member of the American College of Phlebology, a leading organization for vein care specialists and participates in the ACP Research Committee, Preceptorship Committee and the Executive Leadership Summit. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Venous Forum, Society of Vascular Medicine, and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound.Dr. Pal trained at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with post-graduate work at University of California, Los Angeles and University of California, San Diego. He …served as Clinical Instructor at University of California, San Diego School of Medicine prior to an extensive career as Internist and Hospitalist. He also served as Chief of Professional Services for the HealthPartners Medical Group.After training and practicing Internal Medicine for 20 years, Dr. Pal left his position as Chief of Professional Services at the HealthPartners Medical Group in White Bear Lake, MN to take on a new challenge. He had recognized as far back as the late 1990s that technical advances in diagnostic ultrasonography, catheter-based procedures, and minimally invasive techniques presented opportunities to improve the quality of life for patients with venous disorders.Minnesota Vein Center was founded in 2004 as a one-stop healthcare facility where diagnostic and treatment aspects of venous disease could be provided by qualified Minneapolis vein doctors.
