Dr. Obaid graduated from the Damascus Medical School, Syria in 1969. He then came to the United States, where he completed his internship and his Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, in 1974. He completed a Pulmonary Specialty at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois in 1976. Dr. Obaid moved to Eau Claire where he has been serving patients since 1976. Dr. Obaid is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary Medicine and the American Board of Critical Care Medicine. In 2002, Dr. Obaid was awarded the Medical Excellence Award by Sacred Heart Hospital for his dedication to patients and the hospital. Locations/Hours
