Dr. Keem believes that the best treatment for a spinal ailment is non-surgical. If a pathology does dictate surgical treatment, he insists only the absolute necessary intervention should be offered to a patient to minimize the tissue trauma. While minimally invasive spine surgery may be technically demanding to perform, he asserts that it is the surgeon’s duty to keep up with the most advanced surgical techniques for optimal surgical outcome. He enjoys salmon fishing. He has been married since college and has two grown children who live in Southern California.
