Dr. Martha J. Shadel is the medical director of the Bridgeview Family Medicine and Urgent Care in Harrison Township. In addition to family medicine, she has extensive experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and occupational medicine.
Dr. Shadel welcomes patients of all ages and offers extended office hours including weekends and most holidays for convenient appointment scheduling. Her practice also offers on site x-ray, laceration repairs, splinting, routine laboratory testing and on-site DOT drug testing.
She received her medical degree at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. She completed her osteopathic internship at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach. Dr. Shadel completed a one-year residency in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, Loyola, Illinois. After that, she completed residencies initially in general surgery and finishing in emergency medicine at St. John Oakland Hospital
