Biography
I truly believe I have the best job in the world. There is wonderful joy and satisfaction in knowing that I have done my best to help people in the most important aspect of their lives-their health. I grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada. I received a doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, NM. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in immunotoxicology at Lovelace Medical Foundation. After receiving my doctor of osteopathic medicine from Western University in Pomona, I completed a residency in family medicine and a fellowship in geriatric medicine. If I have a stressful day I take my two golden retrievers on a nice long hike.
About my practice
I am board certified in family medicine and subspecialty board certified in geriatric medicine. At …Kaiser Permanente, I am part of the long term care department which manages rehab/skilled nursing facilities. In addition, I have primary duties in palliative care and in hospice care. As a physician, I will give you my best. EVERY DAY, I try to be a better doctor than I was the day before, EVERY DAY.
How I thrive
LIVE, LOVE, and LAUGH. Deep down we all know what we need to do to be well and stay well. Eat right, exercise, love your job, love your family, love yourself, help those around you and you will live to be a 100 years old. And if you don’t make it to a 100,it still would have been worth it because you made the world a better place.
